BoingHosting Billing & Support Update

We have been working on updating our Billing and Support software for some time, we have chosen ModernBill.
This new solution integrates both billing and support into one solution to ensure our system is easier use. Part of this upgrade enables for the automation of account setup.

Domain name registration has not been automated at this stage as no Australian registrar supports a plugin to do this. We should have this option ready by July. We are in the process of adding all domain name details to each account. This will be completed shortly. This will enable you to request renewals and transfers directly through support.

As part of this automation our new system enables us to track deliquent payments and automates actions to be taken on these accounts. Moving forward all accounts greater than 30 days overdue will automatically be suspended. All accounts greater that 60 days overdue will be deleted. Any account that is overdue will be sent weekly emails to notify the owner of the actions to be taken. To re-activate an account all that is required is the outstanding amount be paid and it will automatically be re-enabled.

All future signups will use our new order forms based on the ModernBill backend. The process now involves 2 steps as opposed to the previous 4 step process.
